STEVIE HORTON

It is with great sadness that we hear of the sudden and unexpected passing of Stevie Horton.

She is best known to the Folk North West community for her company Iconic – which also describes her perfectly.

Through Iconic, Stevie worked tirelessly to support and promote Fairport Convention’s Cropredy Festival, also working on behalf of the artists who appeared there.

Additionally, she provided promotional support for the Talking Elephant record label, ensuring that their releases were received by media outlets throughout the folk world, including here at Folk North West.

Her long involvement meant that she was well known and much loved by so many folk artists and organisers in the UK and beyond.

Our thoughts are with her family and close friends at this difficult time.
